Post Malone & Big Sean also pop up in the hazy video.
Tyla Yaweh returned with a fitting remix to "High Right Now" on Friday (Jan. 24) by calling on weed savant Wiz Khalifa to join him and give the record a second life. Yaweh also released a companion visual to the remix, which you can probably already predict is one hazy smoke sesh.
The clip opens with the Heart Full of Rage artist zoning out while surrounded by pounds of bagged-up weed. Wiz is sitting next to him on the couch rolling up his own signature joints filled with Khalifa Kush. They bake the living room out and pass the smoking instruments to the women nearby.
At one point, the scene flips to the Florida native sitting shotgun in a convertible driving around the city with Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong. The star-studded flick even invites cameos from Big Sean and Post Malone, who join the weed circle for a few hits.
Yaweh's friendship with the Green Day frontman was born after seeing him backstage at one of his shows with Post Malone, where Tyla asked Armstrong to clear the record since Wiz's verse interpolates GD classic "Boulevard of Broken Dreams."
"I’m on tour with Post Malone and end up seeing Billie Joe Armstrong backstage," Yaweh told The FADER. "I played him the record and he loved it and said he was gonna clear it!! We ended up becoming] good friends from there and we all ended up making this iconic stoned circle shot happen!”
