Update (May 22, 2023): After teasing the collaboration this weekend, Stüssy returned on Monday with a slate of new imagery and official release information for its upcoming Our Legacy team-up.
On Instagram, the brand offered a closer look at key pieces from the collection, including a sweater featuring dual iconography in swirly lettering and a black button-up donning box-shaped silver buttons. Elsewhere, the range appears to host a bevy of relaxed trousers, utilitarian pants, muted workwear shirts and logo-stamped hoodies.
Stüssy revealed that the collection will be available to purchase at select chapter stores, select Dover Street Market locations and its webstore beginning Friday, May 26. Original Story (May 22, 2023): Stüssy and Stockholm-based brand Our Legacy WORK SHOP have once again come together for a collaborative Summer 2023 capsule collection. At the beginning of the year, the duo gave fans a taste of what it was like to bridge Swedish and Los Angeles style in their Spring 2023 elevated essentials collection. The collaboration for this season continues to expand Stüssy and Our Legacy‘s partnership, previously even entering into a triple collab with Denim Tears.
Prepping for the summer months, the new collaboration takes fans to the beaches with a new teaser posted to both the brands’ Instagram accounts. The image features a look at what can be expected fro the collection, seemingly showcasing an understated overshirt with embossed co-branded stitching of both labels’ monikers on the back. In a sleek all-black look, sandy dunes are the backdrop, setting the tone for the collection. The caption was straight forward and to the point giving just the most important facts about the release, “Stüssy & Our Legacy…2023/05/26.â€
Not much has been revealed regarding the collection just yet but if it is anything like the previous partnerships, the brands will continue the laidback aesthetic for key wardrobe essentials, versatile for a night out on the town to strolls out by the country side.
