Vic Mensa Apologizes For Dissing XXXTENTACION In Front Of His Mother

Miami, FL – Vic Mensa has issued an apology after an XXXTENTACION diss he recorded aired on the October 6 taping of the 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards.

In his pre-recorded cypher, the outspoken rapper condemned Hip Hop artists accused of home violence such because the late XXXTENTACION, whose mom was in attendance to just accept the Best New Artist Award on his behalf.

“Recently, I did a freestyle for the BET Hip Hop] Awards cypher addressing and condemning rappers who unabashedly abuse girls and those that get up for them and even name them legends,” Vic stated in his apology video. “I stand behind these statements. It was pre-recorded weeks in the past, and I had no thought a grieving mom could be within the viewers to honor her misplaced son. I by no means supposed to disrespect her, and I supply my deepest condolences for her loss by the hands of gun violence.

“However, I vehemently reject the development in Hip Hop of championing abusers, and I can’t maintain my tongue about it. I don’t give a fuck about getting consideration. I care about bringing consciousness and holding individuals accountable for his or her actions.

In the Instagram caption, he added, “Protect girls. Domestic & sexual abuse are usually not excusable as a result of you will have expertise or you’re troubled. With that stated I used to be not conscious his mom could be in attendance & I supply her my deepest condolences.”

Word of Vic’s diss was first made public on Saturday by DJ Scheme, a longtime affiliate of XXXTENTACION. He aired out Vic Twitter.

“When y’all hear Vic Mensas fucking freestyle on the BET awards y’all are going to be fucking disgusted,” he wrote. “@VicMensa SUCK MY DICK.”

The apology didn’t change Scheme’s emotions in any respect.

“Vic Mensa is probably the most pussy bitch within the rap recreation fam,” he wrote shortly after the video was posted. “I by no means seen somebody so fucking bitch made. Anyone who aspect with that fuck ass hoe can see me PERSONALLY.”

Fans will get to listen to Vic’s cypher when the 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards air on October 16.
