Waka Flocka announces that he is dedicating his life to suicide prevention and mental illness.
has toyed with the idea of retirement for a few years and it looks like he has finally found a new life’s purpose.
The rapper took to Twitter to announce what he will be doing with his time now that he has completed all that he set out to do in music and his new mission is highly respectable.
“I’m officially dedicating my life to suicide prevention and mental illness!!!” wrote the recording artist on Twitter. “Y’all not alone Waka Flocka Flame is with y’all now!!!!”

The 33-year-old did not explain why he made the decision to take more of a focus on mental illness and suicide prevention but, with the quarantine, an increased number of people around the world have been feeling more down than usual. Waka likely recognizes that and is opening his line to anybody who needs help.
The post is garnering a large amount of support but some of the top responses are jokes about the initiative.
“Imagine calling the suicide hotline and fucking WakaFlocka answers,” wrote one fan.
