The Boy is home.
Drake made a surprise appearance at Wireless Festival in London on Friday (Sept. 10). For the first time since the release of Certified Lover Boy, the Toronto rapper returned to the stage during Future’s set at the U.K. festival, where they performed their CLB collaboration “Way 2 Sexy” for the first time, along with their 2020 hit “Life Is Good.”

Drake also treated his British fans to “Laugh Now Cry Later,” while the screen behind him read “Hey Wireless The Boy Is Home,” inspired by the billboards that appeared across the globe in the days leading up to the release of CLB.

This marked Drake’s first live performance since the pandemic began. There was speculation that he would appear at Wireless after he was seen boarding a flight with Future. While in London, the Oxo Tower changed its lights to read “OVO” in honor of the 6 God.
Certified Lover Boy is set to debut at No. 1 on next week’s Billboard 200 with over 600,000 equivalent album units, marking the biggest week of 2021.
