J-pop band Official HIGE DANdism is set to release a four-song collection of some of their recent tie-in hits called HELLO EP on Aug. 5.
The EP will include the title track, “HELLO,” currently being featured as the theme of the long-running Fuji TV morning show Mezamashi TV; “Parabola,” the band’s latest Billboard Japan Hot 100 top 10 hit being aired as the commercial song for Calpis Water; “Laughter,” the theme of the upcoming movie The Confidence Man JP: Princess starring Masami Nagasawa; and “Natsu moyou no neko” (“The summer-patterned cat”).
Art director Chie Morimoto (goen°) handled the cover art and design of the luxe book-type packages of both the CD and CD+DVD versions. The latter will contain concert footage from the band’s Feb. 10 stop at Pacifico Yokohama during their 2019-2020 domestic hall tour. The set will have live versions of 10 songs, mainly from the “Pretender” band’s first major-label studio album, Traveler.
The band shared a snippet of the tour’s behind-the-scenes clip that will be included in the DVD. Watch the teaser below:
