Wendy Williams announced her hiatus from her talk show as she receives treatment for her Graves’ Disease.
Love her or hate her, Wendy has amassed a multimillion-dollar talk show empire. She gained popularity in the entertainment business as a controversial radio host and she later took her talents to the small screen. For years, with her gossip-heavy series, but 2019 and 2020 posed to be the most difficult run for her yet.

There were rumors that her then-husband Kevin Hunter carried on an extra-marital affair and had a baby with his mistress. Then, Wendy checked into a sober living home to help with her addictions. She returned to the scene but in a post recently shared to her Instagram page, Wendy’s team announced that she’d be taking a break from filming due to health concerns.
“Recently, Wendy has been dealing with symptoms from her Graves’ disease which is causing fatigue,” the post reads. “In consultation with her doctor and as a precautionary measure, We look forward to welcoming Wendy back soon and continuing the ‘Wendy@Home’ shows.
