Bad Bunny, who ended 2019 as the top Latin artist of Billboard’s year-end chart, surprised fans with his chart-topping, record-breaking sophomore album YHLQMDLG. Rosalia teamed up with Travis Scott for the fiery Spanglish collaboration “TKN.” Many artists, such as J Balvin, Anuel AA, and Kany Garcia, even dropped new albums.
During quarantine acts such as Justin Quiles, Natti Natasha, and Lali presented homemade music videos while Thalia, Sebastian Yatra and Prince Royce, to name a few, blessed fans with TikTok videos.
