Virtual concerts have become the new norm, due to the global coronavirus pandemic. Many musicians are using technology to stay connected with their fans, now more than ever.
One innovative way is online concerts, where the artist and/or musical group hosts an intimate concert Facebook, YouTube or Instagram live. Juanes and Alejandro Sanz were one of the first artists to perform a joint acoustic show for fans. Sech in Panama, Dalex in Puerto Rico, and Justin Quiles in Miami each had virtual shows, blessing fans at home with their reggaeton and Latin R&B hits. Carlos Vives, Andres Cepeda, followed.
A wave of Regional Mexican artists has also jumped on the trend in an effort to keep fans optimistic and entertained during these challenging times.
La Adictiva celebrated their 30th anniversary on YouTube Live, Banda MS went live on Facebook, Natanael Cano and Junior H teamed up, and most recently, Gerardo Ortiz, Christian Nodal and Los Plebes del Rancho went live from Mexico.

Basic protective measures against the novel coronavirus, according to WHO, include washing your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand sanitizer, maintaining social distancing at least three feet between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing, and avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth.
