The new slew of upcoming album releases includes a few major pop stars’ debut projects as well as some competing timelines with baby deliveries. But which new pop album can you no longer wait for?
Katy Perry and MAX are waiting to see if their firstborn daughters will come out before their album releases, as Perry recently pushed back her fifth album Smile‘s Aug. 14 release date to Aug. 28. Maybe it’ll be Perry’s first album as a mother! Meanwhile, MAX’s star-studded sophomore album Colour Vision boasts collaborations with BTS’ Suga and Hayley Kiyoko ahead of its Sept. 18 release date. Beside the tracklist, the pop singer also revealed he and his wife Emily Schneider are expecting a baby girl, and the soon-to-be girl dad couldn’t be more stoked about both deliveries.
On the heels of their top 40 Hot 100 hit “How You Like That” smash, Blackpink plans on dropping the K-pop quartet’s highly anticipated debut LP The Album on Oct. 2. And Ava Max will take her fans to Heaven & Hell with her own debut album, which is set to be released on Sept. 18.
