"Wu-Tang Clan: An American Saga" Origin Series Coming To Hulu

Hulu has ordered a 10-episode sequence on Wu-Tang Clan’s origins. According to Variety, the aptly titled Wu-Tang Clan: An American Saga is impressed by The Wu-Tang Manual and Tao of Wu — two books written by RZA — and pulls from the Wu’s actual life story.

Set within the 90s through the crack epidemic, the sequence traces the legendary Hip Hop group’s formation and rise to notoriety.

The sequence is created, written and government produced by Alex Tse — who wrote the Superfly remake – and Wu-Tang visionary RZA. Fellow Killer Bee Method Man can be within the position of government producer. Ghostface Killa, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, GZA in addition to the Estate of Ol’ Dirty Bastard are consulting producers on the venture.

So far, no launch date has been introduced.
