If you’ve noticed, Young Thug is opening up a lot recently — except, in interviews & podcasts, the vulnerability hasn’t really translated to fans believing the man. Perhaps it is because Thug is more articulate in his songs, and it shows in his latest release.
The song is called ‘Man I Miss My Dogs,’ and is a heartfelt, honest release from the rapper, who really did go through some trials and tribulations when it comes to friendship and trust. There’s a lot of sorries and reconciliation on the song, which came out with a music video that largely consists of Thug rapping in front of his car.
This is juxtaposed with shots that are almost memoir like, featuring Drake, Mariah the Scientist and other people close to Thug in his life. At the end of the video, Young Thug unveils the grand reveal — a release date for his most anticipated album project to date, UY Scuti. Check out the music video below!
