This past Monday’s VERZUZ between Brandy and Monica took a lot of us back to the 90’s and early 00’s. It was straight vibes as far as the music goes. However, a lot of us did peep some awkward moments between the two R&B icons. One moment, in particular, involved City Girls member, Young Miami.
Monica was introducing her record, “Sideline Ho,” and brought up Yung Miami to the conversation. Apparently, a lot of viewers peeped the face Brandy made when Monica mentioned her name. As if she had no clue who Caresha “Yung Miami” Brownlee was.
“My girl from the City Girls,” Monica clarified, as Brandy apologized, “I should’ve known that. I’m sorry, Caresha.”
Thanks to social media, fans when crazy on Twitter as Caresha’s name started to trend. Soon enough, Caresha “Yung Miami” saw all the commotion and threw some shade back at Brandy. ‘

Shortly after, the Tweet was deleted and Yung Miami claimed it was a “joke.”
“I was just playing y’all damn im singing how you ever right now lol.” Pretty sure the song is “Have You Ever.” But hearrrrrd you. (lol)
