OMB Bloodbath has a new home. Billboard confirmed on Monday (May 4) that the Houston native is signing a joint venture deal that will create a partnership between 10:22PM and LVRN, which comes with backing from Interscope records.
“I didn’t want to be made over and put in a box,” the Third Ward rapper says. “Celine, LVRN and Interscope have a proven track record of putting their artists first and letting them be themselves. I know they can help take my music career to the next level.”
Quickly following on the heels of the deal’s announcement, the 26-year-old is gearing up to release the menacing “Dropout” featuring an assist from fellow Texas resident Maxo Kream on Friday (May 8). Fans can preview a 45-second teaser to the ominous clip below.
“We couldn’t be more excited to sign OMB Bloodbath here at Interscope Records alongside our partners at 10:22PM and LVRN,” Interscope’s Joie Manda adds. “She’s a talented writer and incredible artist, we’re excited to break her in a real way.”
