Lady Gaga Set to Dominate U.K. Singles Chart

The U.K. singles chart is going gaga this week.

Following the release of Chromatica (Interscope) last Friday (May 26), Lady Gaga is on target to score three entries in the top 40, including the No. 1 single.

Gaga’s current No. 1 “Rain On Me,” her collaboration with Ariana Grande, holds the top spot on the Official Chart First Look, which collates the weekend’s sales and streaming activity.

Also, Chromatica album track “Sour Candy” featuring Blackpink starts at No. 12, and “Alice” bows at No. 21. The three entries could take Gaga’s total of U.K. top 40 singles to 26, the OCC reports.

“Rain On Me” holds a narrow lead over DaBaby’s “Rockstar” (Interscope) featuring Roddy Ricch.

At the early stage in the chart cycle, the highest new entry belongs to Tion Wayne, Dutchavelli and Stormzy, whose collaboration “I Dunno” is at No. 11.

The Official U.K. Singles Chart is Friday evening local time.
