Life is good.
In honor of his 48th birthday on Tuesday (Sept. 14), Nas celebrates Black excellence in the video for “Brunch on Sundays,†his collaboration with Blxst off his latest album King’s Disease II. Directed by Omar Jones, the feel-good clip finds Nas sitting down to brunch with his friends and family including LeBron James, Swizz Beatz, and Russell Westbrook on the rooftop of West Hollywood hotspot Catch.
Dressed in all white, the brunch crew—which also includes Blxst, Cordae, and Nas’ daughter Destiny—feasts on lobster, oysters, and waffles. The track’s producer, Hit-Boy, and his son also make a cameo. At one point, Lil Rel Howery raises a toast to Nas, who he calls “one of the OGs in the game.â€
“Brunch on Sundays†is a standout off King’s Disease II, which featured appearances from Eminem, Lauryn Hill, EPMD, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, YG, and more.
Watch Nas celebrate his favorite day of the week.
