Music mogul Diddy has reportedly been placed in solitary confinement following a physical altercation at the Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institute, where he is currently serving a 50-month sentence for prostitution-related charges. The incident, which occurred earlier this week, has drawn significant attention as the Bad Boy Entertainment founder navigates his ongoing incarceration.
According to reports, the confrontation was sparked after another inmate allegedly insulted the music executive. Sources familiar with the situation indicated that Diddy held his own during the brief scuffle before corrections officers intervened to de-escalate the situation. Following the incident, he was moved to solitary confinement, a standard disciplinary measure within the federal prison system. It remains unclear at this time whether he has been returned to the general population or if this infraction will impact his projected release date of February 8, 2028.
When reached for comment regarding the disciplinary action, a representative for Fort Dix stated, “The Federal Bureau of Prisons does not disclose disciplinary matters or other information regarding individual inmates due to privacy, safety and security concerns.” Representatives for Diddy have not yet provided a statement regarding the matter.
