During the ongoing proceedings of the Lil Durk murder-for-hire trial, former affiliate OTF Jam, legally identified as Kacey Hester, has provided critical testimony. On the fourth day of the trial, Jam offered a candid account of the August 2022 incident at a Los Angeles gas station, which resulted in the death of Saviay’a Robinson, also known as Lil Pab, the cousin of Quando Rondo.
Jam, who has been cooperating with federal authorities, characterized the operation as a failure. When asked by the prosecution about his perspective on the event, he stated, “I felt it was dumb in a sloppy matter. People who shouldn’t have been there.” He further clarified his stance on the victim, noting, “I thought it was sloppy. I didn’t know dude (Lul Pab). In my eyes, he was innocent. I just said I don’t have beef with him.”
The testimony also shed light on the deteriorating relationship between Jam and Lil Durk. While Jam admitted to maintaining a sense of personal history with the rapper, he expressed a profound lack of respect for him, citing feelings of exploitation. “I still got a lot of love for him. Blood [Durk] was there for me… I feel bad,” Jam testified. “I know he probably hate me. I got love for him, I just don’t have respect for him.”
Addressing the gravity of his decision to testify, Jam acknowledged the inherent dangers associated with breaking the code of silence within gang culture. When questioned about the potential for retaliation, he admitted, “As a Black disciple that’s breaking all laws. You can snitch on a opp and get f**ked up… Of course [I could be killed].”
This testimony follows Jam’s previous statements on August 26, where he formally identified Lil Durk, DeAndre Wilson, and David Lindsey as participants in the plot. As the trial continues, the legal community and fans alike remain focused on the unfolding details of this high-profile case.
