AQ Drops “.900” Video

It’s fair to say AQ has made a name for himself as one of the Texas rap scene’s hottest up-and-comers. Returning with a new visual after treating fans to his acclaimed sophomore EP PREESH, the San Antonio rapper drops his new video for “.900”. AQ floats over the instrumental as he boasts the lifestyle his tireless hustle affords: “That 1942 used to be above my budget. When you pass me that check don’t want no passionate discussion. Bust my a*s for this no cushion. You could ask — I blow out averages. Still blackball me like I’m Kaepernick or something.”

The cinematic clip for “.900”, which was shot by Daviee Davee, places AQ as the facilitator of a workshop. Showing off his lyric flow and delivering bars, he dedicates the chorus to his two different lives. One was as a kid growing up in South Texas, and the second, moving to New York for six years. AQ is always at his best when he throws convention to the wind and just has fun.

“.900” is a highlight from PREESH, AQ’s new EP, released in October. The 14-track project paints a way forward for the rapper as he shows his determination to lead into a bright future. PREESH is available everywhere via QNY SZN.

The video for “.900” quickly follows the recent announcement of AQ’s mixtape, “No Feelings”, which kicks off next month. Garnering millions of listeners on Spotify, AQ has changed the lives of people around the world with his relatable lyricism and genre-bending sound. There’s no stopping his rise to the top of the rap game.
