Bad Bunny & Sech Debut in Top 5 on Hot Latin Songs Chart With ‘Ignorantes’

As Bad Bunny and Sech’s “Ignorantes” bows at No. 3 on the Hot Latin Songs chart (dated Feb. 29), they collect their 19th and second top 10, respectively.

Their first collaboration, a breakup ballad released on Valentine’s Day, starts in the top tier mainly on the strength of streaming activity. It registered 9 million U.S. clicks in the week ending Feb. 20, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. The song’s top 10 debut was also assisted by downloads: 3,000 sold in its first tracking week, which grants it a No. 2 start on Latin Digital Song Sales.

With “Ignorantes,” Bad Bunny places a total of three songs in the Hot Latin Songs top 10, which blends airplay, digital sales and streams. “Vete,” a former four-week leader, continues at No. 4 for a second week and “Callaita,” with Tainy, holds at No. 7.

“Ignorantes” gives Sech his first top 10 debut.

Maluma & J Balvin Push to No. 1: Over on Latin Airplay, Maluma and J Balvin’s “Que Pena” rises 2-1 thanks to a 4% boost in audience impressions (to 15.4 million) earned in the week ending Feb. 23. It replaces Karol G and Nicki Minaj’s “Tusa” after a two-week reign.

As the single climbs, Maluma takes his 15th No. 1 and J Balvin collects his 20th. The latter is only the second act to achieve at least 20 leaders on the tally, trailing only Enrique Iglesias’ 30.

“Que Pena” also pushes on Hot Latin Songs, lifting 17-15 despite a 15% decline in streams.
