Chris Brown Blasts Kanye West for Removing Him From ‘DONDA’

Chris Brown has some words for Kanye West.

Taking to his Instagram Story on Sunday, the R&B superstar blasted his “Waves” collaborator after he was allegedly removed from DONDA.

“Kanye a whole hoe,” Brown wrote in a since-deleted IG Story. In a subsequent post, he added, “Nah he tweakin.”

The message appeared after Chris was seemingly removed from “New Again.” A version of the song with Chris’ vocals was originally released to streaming services on Sunday before it disappeared. The song currently features the Sunday Service Choir, while Chris is credited as a writer.

A source tells The Shade Room that Brown “was a little heated about his verse being removed from one of the songs on the new album.”

The two have collaborated before on “Waves” for Kanye’s 2016 album The Life of Pablo. Back in November, Kanye even gifted Chris with a $120,000 SHERP ATV to congratulate him on “20 years in the game.” “You’ve overcome so many hurdles and obstacles, you deserve the recognition for all the hard work you’ve put in,” Ye wrote in his letter.

Kanye was also on the receiving end of Soulja Boy’s wrath after his verse didn’t appear on “Remote Control.” He shared screenshots of a conversation he had with Ye where they discussed a collaboration.

“That ni**a Kanye weird af,” Soulja tweeted. “F**k that my Kanye west diss song finna drop im tired of sparing this clown ass ni**a.”

While Chris and Soulja Boy didn’t make DONDA, DaBaby is featured on the album. The embattled rapper can be heard on “Jail pt 2,” which was added after Kanye claimed that DaBaby’s manager wouldn’t clear the song (He denied the accusation).

Following DONDA‘s release on Sunday, Kanye also called out his label, Universal Music Group, claiming they released the album without his approval and tried to prevent the release of “Jail pt 2” with DaBaby.

“Universal put my album out without my approval and they blocked Jail 2 from being on the album,” he wrote on Instagram.
