Demi Lovato Reflects 'In The Mirror' for Touching Track on 'Eurovision Song Contest' Movie Soundtrack

Demi Lovato makes sense of her loneliness in her new song for Netflix’s new movie Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga, which both came out today (June 26).

In the movie, Lovato plays a singer from Iceland named Katiana Lindsdottir who’s a shoo-in to win the Icelandic Song Contest and sing her way to the top of the highly competitive Eurovision Song Contest, JustJared reported. But even with her sky-scraping spot, which ultimately gets taken away by Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams’ lead characters, the 27-year-old pop star feels isolated.

“I got everything I wished for/ If everything is so right/ Then why does it feel/ Like I’m the loneliest girl in the world/ Like I’m the loneliest, loneliest girl/ Like there’s a dark other half of me/ A part of me I can’t see/ Unless I’m looking in the mirror,” she sings in the chorus.

“Can’t wait for you to meet Katiana,” Lovato captioned her Instagram video that previewed her Netflix movie character singing “In The Mirror.”
