Dennis Rodman has some strong feelings when it comes to Michael Jordan and LeBron James comparisons.
Dennis Rodman has played with some phenomenal players during his career in the NBA, including the likes of and Scottie Pippen. , especially in relation to LeBron James who is considered to be the best player of the current generation.
During an appearance on Mike Tyson’s podcast, Rodman put all of those comparisons to bed as he said LeBron simply can’t compare to MJ. His reasoning is quite simple. Essentially, Jordan would do whatever it took to win while James doesn’t have that killer instinct. At least that’s how Rodman feels.
“[LeBron James] wasn’t bought up this way,” Rodman said. “I had that desire to win, I didn’t give a s**t what it took. I’ll do the dirty work, I don’t give a s**t. At the end of the day that ring is more important. For [Michael Jordan] when he came up he had one thing (to do) – I’m going if I didn’t beat your a** and do my job.”
Considering Rodman actually played in the NBA, you have to take his opinion here seriously. Many fans would argue that Jordan has easier competition but the argument isn’t that black and white. At the end of the day, the generational gap is typically what has people divided on this issue.
