Following the success of their debut collaboration, PUMA Golf, beachwear brand Duvin Design, and PGA Tour Pro Rickie Fowler have come together once again for a second collaboration titled “Purveyors of Leisure.â€
The five-piece collection is built to perform both on and off the green, befitting both golfers and beach enthusiasts alike. The series is inspired by the vibrant ’80s photos of Hobie Cat sailboats, with custom prints and nautical color schemes spread across a spikeless golf shoe, the first sneaker ever designed by Duvin, and various apparel and accessories including a performance quarter-zip, shorts, golf polo, and reversible bucket hat.
The golf shoe takes inspiration from PUMA’s RS Fast running shoe silhouette, featuring a multicolored sole that reveals itself when the heel is raised on each shot. The color-blocked quarter zip is another standout piece that offers full stretch and quick-dry capabilities for comfort and all-weather performance.
Fowler, one of PUMA’s most celebrated athletes, grew up playing golf with Duvin’s co-founder Shaun O’Meara, whose father was a two-time Major winner himself. The collaboration came naturally through the friendship the two share. By extending the relationship to PUMA, a unique capsule is born fusing laidback style, retro-inspired prints, and uncompromising performance.
“Getting to work with Rickie and the PUMA team is always super exciting for us,†says Austin Duvall, Creative Director of Duvin. “It’s incredibly rewarding to get the opportunity to take our inspiration from leisure apparel and apply to it PUMA’s world-class manufacturing and expertise in crafting the ultimate performance products for golf.â€
Look for the Duvin x PUMA Golf collection to release on June 21 via the Duvin Design and PUMA websites. Prices range from $35 to $150 USD.
