Hunt’s ‘Southside’ brought in more than 30% of the vote.
Sam Hunt‘s latest album, Southside, has topped this week’s new music release poll.
In the poll, published Friday (April 3) on Billboard, music fans voted for Hunt’s long-awaited sophomore release as their favorite new release from this week.
The 35-year-old country singer’s Southside album arrived Friday. The new set arrived a full six years after the release of his first full-length project, Montevallo, in 2014.
Bringing in 31% of the vote this week, Southside received more votes than music from Drake, Troye Sivan, Frank Ocean, DaBaby and others. In second place was Drake’s new song “Tootsie Slide,” followed by Sivan’s “Take Yourself Home” in third.
