Five Finger Death Punch snags its ninth No. 1 on Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Songs airplay chart, as well as its first on the new multi-metric Hot Hard Rock Songs tally, as “A Little Bit Off” rises 2-1 on both surveys dated July 4.
“A Little Bit Off” becomes the hard rock five-piece’s fifth straight No. 1 on Mainstream Rock Songs and second from its latest album, F8. Each of the band’s singles since mid-2018 has hit No. 1, starting with one-week leader “Sham Pain” (September 2018), followed by “When the Seasons Change” (one week, March 2019), “Blue on Black” (five weeks beginning in June 2019) and “Inside Out” (four weeks beginning this February).
FFDP slots into a tie for the seventh-most No. 1s in the Mainstream Rock Songs chart’s 39-year history, with Aerosmith and Metallica both also boasting nine each. Shinedown and Three Days Grace lead with 15 No. 1s apiece.

Each of FFDP’s No. 1s has reigned since 2012, when “Coming Down” became the Ivan Moody-led band’s first leader that September. Concurrently, “A Little Bit Off” jumps 9-6 on the all-rock-format, audience-based Rock Airplay chart with 3.9 million audience impressions, up 18%, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. It becomes the band’s highest-charting hit on the ranking, exceeding the No. 7 peak of its cover of Bad Company’s “Bad Company” in 2010.
The band’s latest also rises to No. 1 on the streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Hot Hard Rock Songs chart in the list’s fourth week in existence, following three frames at No. 2. In addition to its airplay success, the song drew 1.6 million U.S. streams and 3,000 downloads in the tracking week ending June 25.
