Several silhouettes have emerged this decade as trendy, versatile sneakers that the masses have flocked to. For New Balance, its design that has led the charge in both versatility and affordability is the 550. While collaborations with the likes of Aimé Leon Dore and thisisneverthat have presented an elevated take on the shoe, it has generally remained consistent in its output. As it continues to take on new looks, a fresh “Sea Salt†pack of colorways has been assembled.
Enlisting a tried and true formula, four mixed material looks consisting of various off-white hues are accompanied by “Blue,†“Olive,†“Green,†and “Orange†accents respectively. This coloring that hits each pair enlivens the “N†logos, collar overlays, the tongue branding and a strip of mesh below the tongue. Elsewhere, crisp suede paneling pairs with leather and mesh detailing as various “Sea Salt†hues trade places to complement the arrangement. Lastly, each look is supported by a white sole unit.
Hang tight as no release information regarding all four of these “Sea Saltâ€-flavored New Balance 550s have surfaced. It’s currently expected to launch simultaneously as a set in the coming weeks at a price of $120 USD via New Balance and select retailers.
