In a world of repetitive beat patterns and catchy choruses that listeners get easily hooked on, there are only a handful of hip-hop artists who still maintain a detailed focus on well-constructed beats and quality lyrical content that the masses can actually relate to, and Bobby Nelson is definitely one of them. The New Jersey-bred rapper, actor, and screenwriter has just released his brand new EP “Dark Spacesâ€. The independent project includes four well-produced Hip-Hop & R&B records with a mixture of melodic instrumentals with resonating lyrics to go with them.
“Dark Spaces†is Bobby’s first debut project as an artist signed to Koze Music, an LA-based sync licensing and publishing agency. Bobby caught the attention of the music company after releasing the EP’s first single and music video, “Tell Meâ€. Music from the project is currently being shopped around for sync opportunities, as it has already been featured as the theme music in the romantic drama short film “Our Separate Waysâ€. The EP is currently sitting at over 26,000 streams on Spotify and is steadily growing.
