Kevin Hart claims a massive victory after the $60M lawsuit was dismissed.
Though Kevin Hart has built a pristine Hollywood image, his career has been riddled with scandals and controversy. The comedian got caught up after he claimed someone was extorting him for millions of dollars to prevent a sex tape from being leaked. On top of all of that, the sex tape wasn’t even with his wife but a woman named Montia Sabbag who claimed that Kevin Hart conspired to have their sexual encounter filmed and leaked for publicity.

According to The Blast, Kevin Hart can breathe easy because the judge has decided to dismiss the case altogether. A federal judge in California ruled that the claims made against Hart in the lawsuit should be tossed out because the suit was “brought to the wrong venue.”
“Court finds that Plaintiff is domiciled in California. Because Plaintiff and defendants Kevin Hart and Jonathan Todd Jackson are all California citizens, there is no complete diversity of all parties in this action. The Court therefore lacks federal subject matter jurisdiction over Plaintiff’s claims,” the order reads.
Hart’s made several attempts to get the case dismissed. Earlier this year, he said that the legal documents weren’t served properly, claiming the server, outside of his home.
Hart recently had a separate $7M lawsuit dismissed so things are certainly looking up in his life.
