In recent times, Meghan Thee Stallion has been in the news for reasons other than her music, which is an unfortunate effect of her increasing popularity.

However, she quickly changed the context to direct attention towards her new single “Don’t Stop,” featuring assists from Young Thug and production by Buddah Bless. Since Easy-E-sampled “Girls in the Hood” released in June, this is the first track released by the Houston star.

Last project of Megan was Suga, released in March, featuring nine tracks as well as features from Kehlani and Gunna. With a debut at the top 10 spot on the Billboard 200, the EP sold about 41,000 album equivalent units, and even spawned the chart-topping remix to the viral cut “Savage” featuring Beyoncé.

Apart from releasing dope music, the star has also been featuring in the works of several peers such as Moneybagg Yo’s “All Dat,” Yo Gotti’s “Pose,” Gucci Mane’s “Big Booty,” Phony Ppl’s “Fkn Around,” Tyga’s “Freak,” and Young Dolph’s “RNB.” Moreover, just last month, she featured on “WAP” of Cardi B, which has ranked on the number one spot on the charts, while also earning the artists a Platinum plaque.

Young Thug has been keeping quite busy too. Apart from the release of Slime & B in May with Chris Brown, the Atlanta rapper has worked with Machine Gun Kelly, Aminé, DaBaby, Trippie Redd, T.I., Migos, and Travis Scott as well. It was back in 2019 that his debut studio album So Much Fun, released, featuring 19 tracks as well as assists from Future, 21 Savage, J. Cole, and loads more. Moreover, the album was also Thugger’s first top-ranking project, as it sold 131,000 album equivalent units in the first week of its release.
