Michael Jordan has been taking no prisoners in “The Last Dance.”
‘s illustrious career with the Chicago Bulls . So far, we have gotten eight episodes and Next weekend, we will be getting the last two episodes of the series and they are certainly going to be a treat.
During last night’s episodes, we got a look at Jordan’s first retirement, as well as his comeback. A major part of the series was his 1996 NBA title run in which the Bulls went 72-10 and beat the Seattle Supersonics in six games in the NBA Finals. At one point, Gary Payton was interviewed about his defense on Jordan. Payton claimed that he was able to wear Jordan down and when MJ was given the iPad to watch these remarks, he let out a maniacal laugh that had social media rushing to make jokes.
Jordan claimed that Payton was no real match for him and that he was only having trouble because he was thinking about his father who had been murdered just a few years prior. The Bulls went on to win the NBA title on ‘s Day, which just goes to show that MJ had a master plan for that season.
As for Payton, we’re sure the Jordan laughter won’t be sitting right with him, anytime soon.
