Nick Cannon became a father for the seventh time when he and Alyssa Scott welcomed a son last month.
The “Wild ‘N Out” star has remained mostly quiet about the latest additions to his family until now. While interviewing JT and Yung Miami of City Girls on his Power 106 show “Nick Cannon Radio,” he opened up about his purposeful decision to father multiple children.
At one point, Nick asked JT for advice. “Wrap it up and protect yourself,” she responded.

Nick defended his decision to have multiple children with multiple women. “I’m having these kids on purpose,” he said.
JT then recanted, telling Nick, “If you having these kids on purpose then it’s nothing I could tell you about your life ’cause I don’t want nobody telling me shit so just be the best you.”
Nick explained that the pregnancies were all planned. “Trust me, there’s a lot of people I could have got pregnant that I didn’t…The ones that got pregnant are the ones that was supposed to get pregnant.”
The “Masked Singer” host and Alyssa Scott welcomed a son, Zen S. Cannon, on June 23. This is Cannon’s fourth child in a year. He and radio DJ Abby De La Rosa welcomed twin sons, Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, on June 14. In December, Nick and model Brittany Bell welcomed their daughter, Powerful Queen. They also share a 4-year-old son, Golden.
