The people of Trinidad and Tobago pulled out their most colorful and embellished costumes for Carnival 2020, and Nicki Minaj certainly didn’t miss out with her incredible blue and silver bejeweled look.
The Trinidadian rapper was a show-stopper in her beautifully embellished corset with a silver, blue and purple feather headdress, nude fishnet leggings and blue and silver rhinestoned hand and leg chains. Minaj’s makeup complemented the look with matching blue eyeshadow and a bold winged eyeliner.
“Meet me on Tribe truck right now,” she teased her 111 million Instagram followers on Tuesday with a video of her strutting and dancing in her ‘fit. When she finally gave the Barbz a close-up captioned “Trini to di bone],” former collaborators Meghan Trainor and Megan Thee Stallion gassed her up.
“QUEEN OF CARNIVAL,” Trainor commented with a generous amount of jeweled crown emojis.
“Wow,” the “Hot Girl Summer” star wrote.
Minaj also shared pictures of her at the island-wide celebration, where she brought her husband Kenneth Petty to witness the rainbow assortment of costumes and headpieces born by the attendees.
