Nike Sportswear has been pushing out a sizable amount of new colorways this season, and one silhouette that has been picking up a hefty amount of steam lately is the Air Max 1. We’ve seen the Tinker Hatfield-designed model be reinterpreted in a duo of colorways that express Puerto Rico pride, remixed with feathered Swooshes for the Bay Area and modeled after Japanese vinyl toys, and now it has just been revealed in a fresh “Clear Jade†colorway.
Its titular shade purloins most of the attention across its upper half. The Tiffany-esque accents are dispersed to the tumbled leather Swooshes, Nike branding that is printed on the tongues and embroidered into the heels eyelets and mudguards. Sultry gray suede panels show face on the quarter panels, heel and start of the toe boxes while the breathable mesh underlays, tongues and interiors are dressed in pure white. Below, the midsoles are done up with an angelic finish while the treading is presented with “Clear Jade,†black and white panels.
If you’re looking to add this clean installment to your rotation this summer, you can find it dropping via Nike and select retailers on July 21 for $150 USD.
Elsewhere in footwear, close-up images of the Nike Mac Attack “Red Crush†have appeared.
