During her appearance in court on Thursday, September 3, Springfield testified that she never observed Lil Durk at the residence where King Von’s memorial was held. Furthermore, she stated that there were no discussions regarding retaliation for Von’s death during that three-day gathering. Her account stands in stark contrast to the testimony provided by OTF Vonnie, who had previously claimed that he and Durk discussed avenging Von’s death at that same location.

According to reports from the courtroom, Springfield—a 10-year U.S. Army veteran—described a close relationship between King Von and OTF Vonnie (born Kavon Grant), noting that the two were inseparable. She alleged that this proximity allowed Vonnie to assume control over King Von’s financial affairs.
The defense team raised significant questions regarding these finances, attempting to suggest that Vonnie may have misappropriated $300,000 from a trust fund intended for King Von’s son.
