Stone Island’s “Stellina” Drop Stamps Clean-Cut Garments With Emblematic Stars

After dropping a “Marina” capsule made with its Rip Stop Prismatico nylon last month, Stone Island has returned with the next installment in its Spring/Summer 2023 collection, titled “Stellina.” Continuing its exploration of technically-advanced textiles, this latest delivery offers up a series of branded silhouettes donning emblematic star embroidery, composed of several inventive materials.

3L Bio-Based Nylon, a three-layer performance fabric, forms the basis for a bevy of cleanly-tailored outerwear silhouettes. Laminated to an interior breathable layer and guarded by a run-proof polyester layer, the material composes signature parka and jacket silhouettes in both black and purple colorways. Both garments feature standing collars and Stone Island’s star embroidery on the chest.

Elsewhere, a vest features padding made from PrimaLoft® Gold P.U.R.ETM, a 100% recycled blend of “ultra-small diameter fibers resulting in superior thermal performance.” Notably, it provides the highest warmth-to-weight ratio of all synthetic insulations. Knitwear, meanwhile, flaunts a thinly-ribbed double face, and a shirt jacket enlists a stretch cotton nylon with a Panama weave. Crewneck sweatshirts are made with a double-face material, with an outer face of nylon and an inner face of cotton.
