K-pop group SuperM blew minds last year when their debut EP, The 1st Mini Album, landed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The so-called “Avengers of K-pop,” which brings together members of established acts SHINee, EXO, NCT 127 and WayV, are gearing up to do it again this summer with the surprise announcement of their debut full-length album and a pair of singles.
The seven-member group revealed on Wednesday night (Aug. 5) that their first single of 2020, “100,” will drop on Aug. 14, followed by a second promotional track, “Tiger Inside,” slated for release on Sept. 1. Those two songs will lead up to the Sept. 25 drop of the act’s debut album, Super One.
With less than three months before the end of the 63rd Grammy Awards’ eligibility period (which began on Sept. 1, 2019 and ends Aug. 31), SuperM were tapped by Billboard‘s Pop Shop Podcast team as early contenders in the best new artist category.
