Conceptualized during a time of global lockdowns, The Private Label‘s “Collection 4†shares its outlook on loungewear. Following the inaugural release of the range, the laid-back imprint has now delivered Drop 2 of “Collection 4.â€
Serving as a continuation of the themes shared in its collection from last summer, the latest offerings offer a revised version of the contemporary kimono design along with three new silhouettes. The Private Label’s take on a full three-piece suit is led by the Disco Nap Poplin Shirt, a simple button-up shirt, and the Redux Kimono, which functions like the vest of a three-piece set.
Rounding up the release is the Rush Hour Blazer and Trouser which shows a focus on comfort and easy fabric handling. The entire drop is designed to be unisex, utilizes 100 percent Japanese, and is both designed and crafted in Hong Kong.
The lookbook for “Collection 4†Drop 2 features DJ Kulu, Hong Kong’s first Renaissance Man, a renowned photographer, DJ, and party promoter since the 1960s. The iconic figure is paired with Room307, a bedroom pop, dream pop artist from Hong Kong known for his nostalgic, simple, and strangely romantic music.
