Finally.
Tory Lanez breaks his silence since the shooting incident involving Megan Thee Stallion back in July. As the allegations against Lanez hit mainstream news, the world watched as Megan Thee Stallion spoke out while Lanez said nothing. Weeks later, Lanez decided to tell his side of the story via a new album. On “DAYSTAR,” Lanez Tweeted: “There is a time to stay silent. And a time to speak..” – along with the cover art.
The album opens with “Money Over Fallouts” which features audio bytes from media reports that criticize Lanez – including commentary from Kehlani and Kaash Paige.
Leading up to this release, Megan had gone public with her accusations, claiming Lanez was indeed the shooter.
“Megan’s people tryna frame me for shooting. But them boys ain’t clean enough,” Lanez raps. He continues to go off on a lyrical rant accusing Megan of filing a false report, and shedding light on their alleged relationship. “Girl you had the nerve to write that statement on the affidavit. Knowing I ain’t do it but I”m coming at my truest. Tryna keep this shit 200 with you. Don’t forget you was my bitch. I held it down and kept it real. I would never paint no fake picture of you just for some mills.”
There’s a lot of tea on this album. Listen below.
