TRUMP PREPARED FOR WAR AS WE MARCHED FOR PEACE

Trump has shown us time and time again he benefits from the chaos and separation of the country. His beneficiaries play both sides of the civil unrest while he sit backs and fuels the anger and pain of the citizens. He mocks religions, women, the under privileged and uses harsh terms when speaking on other nations and races. Could he at least pretend he wants a untied states of America and not a divided one? Pinning american citizens against each other, disregarding innocent lives, labeling black lives matter an organization used for peace and equality, as terrorist group. Why does it take former presidents to do what he is currently in office for?
The US President calls unrest in the country after the death of George Floyd “domestic terrorism”.
“If a city or state evades taking the necessary measures to protect the lives and property of its residents, I will use the US armed forces and quickly solve the problem for them”, – Trump said.
According to US media reports, the US president had previously called on state governors to be tougher against protesters and use force to curb unrest. It is also reported that shortly before Donald Trump’s speech, police dispersed the demonstrators around the White House with the use of force. For the protesters, tear gas and stun grenades were used.

Recall that a wave of protests in the United States caused the death of 46-year-old African American George Floyd, who was strangled during detention by a white policeman. Demonstrations escalated into riots and clashes with the police. In many cities, curfews have been imposed and the National Guard has been deployed. As the protest continues throughout the week please take note of all the doings inside and surrounding this issue. We do not want to allow Trumps bullying to deter us from our mission and goals. War on the American people by the U.S. Armed Forces will not scare the people from the streets. When you threaten us with the same weapons you use on the real terrorist of the world you force us to react. I think the people across this nation and across the world will continue to stand up against his unprecedented actions. We will continue to progress as a people and later as a whole nation.

There are circumstances where a president can do so under the Insurrection Act of 1807, which has been amended several times in the years since. According to the law, posted online by the Legal Information Instituteat Cornell Law School:

“Whenever the President considers that unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages, or rebellion against the authority of the United States, make it impracticable to enforce the laws of the United States in any State by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings, he may call into Federal service such of the militia of any State, and use such of the armed forces, as he considers necessary to enforce those laws or to suppress the rebellion.”

Past presidents have employed the Insurrection Act to send the military to Southern states to ensure court-ordered desegregation of schools in the 1950s and 1960s, and at the request of several states to quell riots in 1968. It was most recently used in 1992, when troops were sent to Los Angeles after the California governor sought federal help during the riots following the police acquittal in the beating of Rodney King.
