After drawing attention for being spotted wearing leggings, Ye recently filed documents to trademark the YEEZY SOCK SHOES he wore with his questionable bottom style. In a filing to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the controversial figure applied for a new trademark on May 4, 2023. The trademark application made by Ye’s company, Mascotte Holdings, Inc., notes that the “YZY SOCK SHOES†branding will be used to sell “Socks; socks with leather soles.â€
The YEEZY SOCK SHOES and leggings were first spotted when the rapper was photographed after his surprise and secret YEEZY SEASON 10 presentation in Los Angeles, May 1.
The trademark filing was done by the Mascotte Holdings, Inc. company Ye founded with his agent André Bodiford back on June 29, 2004. It is interesting to note that all of Ye’s brands are held by Mascotte Holdings, Inc.
