“Wake Em Up†blends Southern Trap and Hip Hop genres together, showing off Loe Shimmy’s masterful skills in writing rhymes that flow perfectly over the beats. The Hip Hop songwriter paints a vivid picture of inner city street life in the most poetic way, rapping, “They Done Woke The Demon Up.â€
