Pushing fashion and footwear innovation further, Balmain has teamed up with Space Runners to craft a limited-edition capsule of its popular Unicorn sneakers in both the physical and digital worlds. In collaboration, the two entities concocted several NFT versions of Balmain’s signature silhouette, each of which unlocks a reedemable code for a real-life pair.

Upon purchasing the collaborative bundle, buyers will receive an email link to claim their Unicorn Digital Collectible NFT, which provides exclusive access in Balmain’s world, including early access to future Balmain drops, digital wearables for games, exclusive physical accessories and more that has yet to be announced. From there, owners can redeem a physical pair of the Unicorn sneakers, which are available in a variety of contemporary designs from Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection.

“We are thrilled Balmain entrusted us to not only do justice to one of fashion’s most identifiable designs, the Unicorn, but also take consumers on a journey inspired by the tremendous legacy of Balmain,” said Space Runner’s co-founder and CEO Won Soh.

Txampi Diz, CMO of Balmain, added, “As the physical and digital continue to merge, Balmain is dedicated to constantly exploring emerging pathways that help add new recruits to the very engaged, diverse and global Balmain Army. So, knowing that this collaboration allows us to introduce this historic house to a broader audience, Balmain is very happy to partner with Space Runners to place the spotlight squarely upon the bold spirit and silhouette of Olivier Rousteing’s latest Unicorn designs.”

The Balmain x Space Runners Unicorn collection is now available on Balmain’s website. The price of each bundle ranges from €1385 EUR to €1840 EUR, and customers have the ability to pay with either ETH or credit/debit card.
