It looks like the Jackboys 2 rollout is in full motion. With new listings in terms of merch and pre-orders on Travis Scott’s website, it is clear as day that the rapper intends to release his much anticipated project soon. Apparently, it also comes with a film. The rapper teased the same in a small trailer on his Instagram today.
Yes, you read that right — Jackboys 2 is likely to be accompanied by elaborate visuals that qualify as a film. It is being directed by none other than Harmony Korine, who also had Travis Scott star in his 2023 experimental elegy, Aggro Dr1ft.
Shot entirely in infrared, the project was an experimental piece of art that served as a portrait of an assassin’s mind. Now, with the creative forces locking in again, who is to say what the upcoming film will be like?
For now, nobody really knows, although fans on Reddit suspect it to be one long music video littered with unreleased snippets here and there. They also noted that Corine, in fact, worked on the first Jackboys album cover.
All that is for certain is that the official site now has an option that allow fans to preorder the album (digitally and otherwise), alongside new t shirts, caps and bundle deals. Check it out here!
