Following the release of their debut collaboration last year for SS22, iconic Harajuku vintage store BerBerJin and eYe Junya Watanbe MAN now reconnect once again for a series of retro-style wares faithfully reproduced using innovative methods.
Digging deep into the archives, the range is highlighted by two styles of vintage leather rider jackets from American motorcycle brand BATES. The texture of worn glossy leather is realistically replicated onto cotton canvas for a m0re lightweight and breathable build while maintaining the age-old look. Yellow BATES name patches and brand tags used are all originals.
Also in the lineup are a new addition to the duo’s Levi’s vintage denim series introduced in the last drop, featuring the Levi’s® 551ZXX silhouette in cotton twill with white drawstrings and painted red-ink jacrons. Rounding out the series are brown duck canvas pants inspired by ’50s Carhartt styles.
Look for the pieces to be available via ZOZOVILLA and other eYe Junya Watanabe MAN deleaers on April 21. Prices range from ¥60,000 to ¥148,500 JPY ($446 to $1,105 USD).
