For several popular rappers, singers, as well as actors to come up in a failed ad campaign related to Covid-19, a $265 million effort was put in by the Trump administration. At least 247 celebs were vetted by them, including Lil Wayne, Roddy Ricch, Cardi B, Lil Uzi Vert, Ludacris, Ice-T, and Nicki Minaj, the documents acquired by the House Oversight Committee revealed.  Interestingly, to complete this public service campaign funded by tax, a contractor was paid $256 million by the Department of Health and Human Services. A week before that, Fors Marsh, which is a strategic communications firm, won a $250 million contract with HHS.
