Justin Bieber has a new look for summer.
After stirring controversy with his dreadlocks, the ďPeachesĒ singer has chopped off his hair. He debuted his new buzzcut on Instagram, posing for a selfie with his hand on his shaved head and in another photo alongside his wife Hailey Baldwin.
Bieberís followers seemed to approve of his new look. One of the photos had nearly 6 million likes from friends including DJ Khaled, Chance the Rapper, and Bow Wow.
Last month, Bieber was accused of cultural appropriation for styling his hair in dreadlocks. The look received mixed reviews, with some fans calling him out in the comments.
ďJ, please educate yourself on culture appropriationÖ. You shouldnít be wearing dreadsÖ With love,Ē wrote one, while another added, ďDidnít you say you were educating yourself about black culture so what is this foolery.Ē
Bieber never addressed the controversy, but he did rock his locks in the video for DJ Khaledís ďLet It GoĒ with 21 Savage.
Back in 2016, he wore his hair in dreadlocks and again faced accusations of cultural appropriation. He responded by sharing a video mocking his critics. ďBeing weird is funí if u r not weird I donít like you,Ē he said.
