NBA YoungBoy Sentenced To 23 Months In Prison For Firearm Possession

NBA YoungBoy has been sentenced to 23 months in prison for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.

This stems from the 2020 arrest in Baton Rouge, where more than a dozen guns were seized on a video set and he and 15 others were detained. Variety has now obtained documents confirming that the rapper has been sentenced to 23 months in prison, followed by 60 months of probation.

Since his May arrest, the rapper has been serving time in Utah for a case where he pled guilty to identity fraud and forgery. His lawyer argued being in Utah would keep him out of trouble. Being credited with time served potentially reduces his remaining sentence to 12 months.
