Newly released footage from a 2024 arrest has provided a chilling look into the investigation surrounding the murder of Foolio. Sean Gathright, one of four men convicted in the high-profile case, is seen in the video being confronted by law enforcement, who explicitly tell him that his own negligence led to the downfall of his entire criminal group.
The footage, which surfaced on social media on Thursday, August 20, 2026, captures a tense moment at a police station on July 27, 2024. During the interrogation, an officer is heard addressing Gathright directly, stating, “Just so you know, man, and I’m trying to insult you or nothing like that, but you brought the whole group down. You made way too many f**king mistakes, man. You brought the whole group down. Your prints, your phone, you got the gun, the casings. Bro, you brought this whole f**king group down.”
In addition to the verbal confrontation, the footage shows a physical altercation between Gathright and four officers. The incident occurred after Gathright allegedly attempted to break through the ceiling while left alone in a holding room, subsequently refusing to comply with orders to sit down when officers entered to intervene.
This development follows the legal conclusion of the case earlier this year. In June 2026, Gathright, along with co-defendants Isaiah Chance, Davion Murphy, and Rashad Murphy, were sentenced to life in prison for their roles in the June 2024 killing of the Jacksonville rapper. The murder, which took place in a Tampa hotel parking lot, was described by prosecutors as a targeted act stemming from an ongoing gang feud.
During the sentencing phase, Gathright attempted to plead for leniency, citing his upbringing and suggesting that his actions should be viewed through the lens of his developmental maturity. However, Judge Michelle Sisco ultimately handed down life sentences without the possibility of parole for all four men. A fifth individual involved in the case, Alicia Andrews, was previously sentenced to 15 years in prison for manslaughter.
