Roddy Ricch & Mustard’s ‘High Fashion’ Takes No. 1 on Four Radio Charts

Roddy Ricch cashes another No. 1 into his Billboard account as “High Fashion,” featuring Mustard, simultaneously tops four different airplay rankings on the charts dated June 13. The single leads R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, Rap Airplay, Rhythmic Songs and Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop, rising from the runner-up rank on each list.

On R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, “Fashion” ascends in its 16th week thanks to a 5% increase to 21.8 million in audience in the week ending June 7, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. Similarly, its Rap Airplay coronation comes with a 5% boost in audience in the same period, in its 15th frame.

For Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop and Rhythmic Songs, which rank by plays of a song at their respective formats rather than by audience, the track displays similar growth. On the former, “Fashion” rises with a 5% jump in plays in the week, while it lifts 3% in plays to take over the latter’s summit.

Radio bumps across the board push the song into the top 10 on the all-genre Radio Songs chart. It climbs 13-10 on the list through a 5% hike to 37 million in total audience.

“Fashion” gives Roddy Ricch his third No. 1 on the Rap Airplay, Rhythmic Songs and Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop charts, following his smash “The Box” and another Mustard collaboration, “Ballin’”. On R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, it becomes his second leader, after “The Box.”

The airplay takeover lines up with another success for Roddy Ricch. He earns his second Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 thanks to his featured turn on DaBaby’s “Rockstar.”

Mustard, meanwhile, collects his first champ on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, his second on both Rap Airplay and Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop after “Ballin’” and a third winner on Rhythmic Songs after “Ballin’” and “Pure Water,” a collaboration with Migos.

The latter continues Mustard’s hot streak at the radio format. “Fashion” is the producer-turned-artist’s third consecutive Rhythmic No. 1, the first artist to string a trio together since Post Malone linked “Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse),” with Swae Lee, “Wow.” and “Goodbyes,” featuring Young Thug last year.

“Fashion” appears on Roddy Ricch’s Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial album, which topped the Billboard 200 for four weeks between December 2019 and February 2020.
